Creating a Sustainable World Through Sport
About
My name is Audrey Babbitt
What if sport could be one of our greatest tools for environmental change?
Sport has a unique ability to bring people together, set ambitious goals, and turn collective effort into measurable results. From the Olympic movement's climate commitments to local races rethinking their environmental impact, sport can help create the momentum needed to protect our planet.
I'm Audrey, an endurance triathlete with a degree in Environmental and Social Governance. My experience in sport and my education in sustainability have led me to an intersection I'm passionate about: using sport to advance environmental conservation and climate action.
In my work with UTMB, I've helped develop sustainability resources, evaluate waste and recycling outcomes, and communicate environmental practices to race teams and participants. I focus on turning sustainability goals into practical strategies that organizations can implement, measure, and build upon.
I believe meaningful environmental progress starts with the right information, takes shape through implementation, and grows through inspiration. Just as athletes work toward ambitious goals through preparation, teamwork, and persistence, communities can apply those same principles to creating a more sustainable future.
My goal is to help make environmental responsibility an integral part of how we experience, organize, and grow sport.
